The daughter who greeted us, believes in her mama’s food that’s for sure. She immediately sold us on the homemade corn and flour tortillas. I had the taco pastor, pollo, and shrimp. All well seasoned and on a soft corn tortilla. They have a bar with all the things you’d want to top your tacos with, and honestly it was all so tasty. The only problem is that I could have eaten like.. a lot.

This place is awesome. Everything tastes so fresh and the flavors are flavorfuuul. I had 4 tacos: carnitas, shredded beef, pastor, and chorizo. They were all great, but the carnitas and pastor tacos were my favorite. The corn tortillas are made in house. They also have a salsa/topping bar with some homemade creamy avocado sauce that they serve as their guacamole. Don’t miss this place - you won’t be disappointed. Also, the staff is incredibly kind. I like going to restaurants where I’m treated like family, and this is one of those restaurants.

Taqueria Navarro is an absolute gem. They’re a family-owned spot that started as a food truck and have now grown into a restaurant right here in Sanford. The owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming—and even better, the food is phenomenal. I stopped in for lunch and spent less than $10, which is rare these days for something this good. I’ll definitely be coming back!

If I could, I would eat all my meals here every day. Taqueria Navarro is the real deal for authentic Mexican street food. This is not your typical Tex-Mex place with endless chips and salsa and Americanized food and portions. It is a no-frills, family-owned spot that focuses on what truly matters: amazing food made with care. I have had the tacos, gorditas, and quesadillas chicas, and every one of them was full of fresh, bold flavor. The topping bar is a great touch. You can add your own cilantro, onion, lime, salsa verde, or salsa rojo just the way you like it. The aguas frescas are also fantastic and pair perfectly with the food. The portions reflect true Mexican street style, smaller so you can try several different things, and the prices are very fair. If they ever add elote or esquites, I might never eat anywhere else. ????????

Cooked to order and a ton of flavor. AUTHENTIC, not bland and basic like almost everywhere else it seems. Queso, birria, chorizo, shredded chicken all amazing. They have a little condiment bar where you can add whatever veggies and sauces you want. First time here, and it’s def our new spot on Sanford. Try the birria tacos and the chorizo quesadilla chica. 10/10

Dude! This place is great. I'm from California and this cooking reminds me of home so much. Real stuff! Horchata! Tacos and sopes carne asada my favorite with from scratch Tortillas.
